Blurry times at the beach

Do you know what I’ve been loving lately? Beach photoshoots!

This week I was honored to do a second birthday photoshoot, which took place in English Bay, Vancouver. Weather wasn’t as sunny as on my previous photoshoot experience, but it didn’t matter - it was still wam and my model didn’t freeze so you may call it a success.

During this photoshoot I also got to play around a bit with camera settings as I wanted to practice capturing motion blur. Model had to spin quite a lot, but we got some extremely atmospheric shots that we both were obsessed with! Needless to say, that I was way too excited (again) when I started the editing process.

Obviously not all of the photos we took were blurry, which my eyes were happy about - blurry photos were quite tricky to edit to be honest (mainly because my eyes were like “O.o - why this isn’t sharp”).

By the way, one thing that I loved about this photoshoot was how quickly the birthday girl relaxed - I know how extremely self-aware one may become when posing in front of the camera, especially when surrounded by the people. That is the reason why I typically try to find as quiet and remote location as possible to start at and from there move around when both of us are are feeling relaxed.

To these photos - until next time. <3
